The car decided to stop working all of a sudden without warnings or check engine lights, the sound was very loud and jolty, thankfully I was near my house and I was able to park the car. It sounded like there was a hiccup in between its jolt, and the car will shake aggressively until i turned it off. I had the truck towed to my dealer, it took two weeks for them to get back to me and tell me that my engine had metal shreds inside and I needed a new engine. Its been almost 2 months and Im still waiting for the tracking number of the new engine. The GM customer support has been very cooperative in regards to this issue. But the time and risk this kind of damage imposes in the vehicle makes me think twice about the safety of the truck. I certainly wouldnt want this type of failure to happen at 65mph in a highway.
