The contact owns a 2020 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The contact stated that after the snow season and the snow had melted on the roof of the vehicle, it was discovered that water was leaking into the cabin onto the front passengers side floor through the top of the front windshield. The contact stated that the front windshield could be slightly detached by pushing on it manually. The vehicle was taken to a local independent dealer where it was diagnosed that the front windshield needed to be replaced. The local dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not repaired due to the cost. Upon further investigation, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V421000 (Visibility); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 40,300.
