At various times since we have owned our van, when the gas pedal is pushed, the car will not move for a few seconds. It will then go, but its not smooth. I can never recreate this issue, since it seems to happen randomly. I had it happen today, and it lasted longer than a couple of seconds. I was thankful I was just leaving my neighborhood and not trying to turn onto a busy street.
