The contact’s employer leased a 2022 Ram Promaster as a work vehicle. The contact stated that the front drivers side door striker had become loosened and had started to detach from the frame of the vehicle. The contact stated that the door failed to lock securely while driving due to the failure. Upon further inspection of other work vehicles, the contact stated that there were several vehicles with similar failures. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
