I have a 2014 ford flex limited ecoboost and Im having some issues with the back up camera intermittently working and gs black and says to bring it to the dealer. After doing a tiny bit of research on this issue Im seeing that there are a couple different years that have already recalled this camera from this model. I also have looked into a replacement and noticed that its the same exact camera on these models that have an open recall. Im also a member of a Facebook ford flex group and this issue is much more widespread than they want us to believe. Most people have had to replace them or pay a ton for the dealer to replace. Its a very big safety issue since this vehicle has pretty terrible visibility out the rear of the car. Im also having an issue with the front collision sensor as the adaptive cruise control has never really worked. Ive also noticed a lot of Folks posting about this in this Facebook group.
