The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front passengers side door failed to latch as intended. The contact stated that the front passengers door was independently unlatched and opened. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice while her young daughter was occupying the front passengers seat. In addition, while starting the vehicle, the door ajar warning light illuminated. After several attempts to close and latch the front passengers door, the warning light turned off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated.
